About Asad

Asad Muneeb Gopayra is a Supervising Senior Immigration and Asylum Caseworker at Wimbledon Solicitors, based at our Tooting office. He has a substantial practice in complex immigration, asylum and human rights matters, and represents clients in both publicly and privately funded cases.

He advises clients from the earliest stage of a case, develops the legal and evidential strategy, prepares detailed representations to the Home Office, and progresses matters before the First-tier Tribunal and the Upper Tribunal. His experience covers cases involving disputed credibility, risk on return, extensive documentary evidence, country expert evidence, and medical or psychological evidence.

Asad joined Wimbledon Solicitors in October 2024. Before that he practised immigration and asylum law at another London firm, and he brings four years of practice in Pakistan, where he was enrolled as an Advocate in 2017 and as an Advocate of the High Court in 2019.
