About Mamta

Mamta Maratha is a Senior Family Solicitor at Wimbledon Solicitors, based at our South Wimbledon office. She has thirteen years of legal experience, joined the firm in 2014 and was admitted as a solicitor of England and Wales in 2016.

Her practice covers the full breadth of family law. She acts in domestic abuse injunctions, private and public law children proceedings, divorce and financial remedy, and international family matters such as Hague and non-Hague Convention child abduction and relocation cases.

Mamta works with both legal aid and private clients. She can advise in English, Marwari and Hindi, and also speaks some Urdu and Gujarati.

Re A (Article 13b, Ukraine) [2023] EWHC 3524 (Fam)

A High Court case under the 1980 Hague Convention concerning an application for the return of a child to Ukraine. Wimbledon Solicitors acted for the respondent mother, who raised an Article 13(b) defence.
