About Samantha
Samantha Soodeen is a trainee solicitor in the family department at Wimbledon Solicitors, based at our South Wimbledon office. She works on injunctions and protective orders, divorce and financial proceedings, and both private and public law children proceedings.
Samantha has over seven years of legal experience and qualified as a lawyer in Trinidad and Tobago in 2020. She also has expertise in commercial law, which gives her a practical grounding in financial and contractual questions that often sit behind a family dispute.
Samantha advises in English and works with legal aid clients. Family matters usually reach a solicitor at a point of real pressure, and her approach is to give each client the time and attention the situation deserves.

How Samantha helps clients
Samantha takes a client focused approach. She listens to what has actually happened, explains the options in plain terms, and makes sure each client understands what the court process will involve before any step is taken.
She is detail oriented in the preparation of a case, particularly where statements, financial disclosure and evidence need to be accurate and complete. She is also aware that a family matter is rarely only a legal problem, and she deals with clients with compassion and without judgement.
Every client should understand what is happening in their case, why it is happening, and what comes next.
