About Mohtasim

Mohtasim is a Paralegal at Wimbledon Solicitors, working in immigration, asylum and human rights law. After reading law at the University of Exeter, Mohtasim completed the Bar Practice Course and Master of Laws at the University of Law before being called to the Bar by The Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn in 2024. Mohtasim focuses on immigration, asylum and human rights appeals, preparing and managing cases before the First-tier Tribunal and the Upper Tribunal from the first instruction through to determination.

Much of Mohtasim's work centres on protection and human rights claims, where careful evidence and clear drafting can make the difference to an appeal. Mohtasim works with both legal aid and private clients, and speaks English, Bengali, Hindi and Urdu, which allows many clients to talk through their case in a language they are comfortable with.
